Well, if there is a requirement to be in LINKLIB, then yes, by all means SMPE
usermod. However, if it can be any library linklist accessible, then you have
choices. If it were me I would find a way to use SMPE.

Subject: Homegrown Healthcheck Maintenance

Having successfully written & tested my first homegrown Healthcheck, I now wish
to deploy it and was wondering how folks generally maintain these. Is it a step
too far to install it as an SMP/E usermod? I am thinking of deploying it to
SAXREXEC (using a name alphabetically after I). However it also has a message
table associated with it, which I could also maintain with SMP/E, but that
message table has to be pushed through the HZSMSGEN utilitity to generate
assembler source, which then needs to be assembled/linked into LINKLIB?

Starting to look messy!

Any thoughts gratefully received.
