Or the other way round: the users can get all the spoolspace they want, when they pay it. Only the sun rises for free, as we say here.

In the end both the I and the user benefit from it. That does not cost much, add some jobnumbers and trackgroups. The output of the jobs? If they produce large reports, force them to write those to disk datasets and use SMF exits to add /*JOBPARM LINES= to the job and automatically cancel those jobs exceeding the threshold. Or you can write your own external writer, to move data to disk. It fills the spool, difficult to handle etc etc . I would need some simple tool to manage this: - submit again and again , only a a limited number of jobs. - if a job is ready, write out the outputs to some dataset. - maybe check the return codes. Before starts to write, maybe someone has a good idea about this. -- Kind regards, / Mit freundlichen Grüßen Miklos Szigetvari Research& Development ISIS Papyrus Europe AG Alter Wienerweg 12, A-2344 Maria Enzersdorf, Austria T: +43(2236) 27551 333, F: +43(2236)21081 E-mail: miklos.szigetv...@isis-papyrus.com Info: i...@isis-papyrus.com Hotline: +43-2236-27551-111 Visit our brand new extended Website at www.isis-papyrus.com --------------------------------------------------------------- This e-mail is only intended for the recipient and not legally binding.
