It will depend on your workload.  More and more functions on the Mainframe
are using zIIP engines.  However, they are not always documented.
PROJECTCPU will help you see if a zIIP might be useful.  This Techdoc is
helpful for PROJECTCPU

And so forth.

I agree that Al Sherkow ([email protected]) about LCS maybe your best option.
