I imagine one could use Micro Focus COBOL and its JVM support. I suppose mainframe file I/O might be a problem, though.
There's also this: http://www.veryant.com/products/iscobol/cobol-compiler.php. There was also one called PERCobol from "LegacyJ", but I can't find their website, so it may have gone the way of the dodo. I've not tried any of them. >________________________________ > From: Tony Harminc <[email protected]> >To: [email protected] >Sent: Wednesday, January 22, 2014 1:14 PM >Subject: Re: Resistance to Java. > > >On 22 January 2014 08:36, John McKown <[email protected]> wrote: >> Now wouldn't that be a kick?
