Yes, I just wanted something simpler than a batch job, kind of a "remote !
command." (Not more complex LOL!)

I bit the bullet. I uploaded the batch TSO job and executed it with SITE
FILETYPE=JES etc.

There is nothing in the FTP protocol for executing a remote command.
Perhaps SSH would better suit your needs.
