Subject: SLES Starter System for System z 11 SP3 has been released

Cross-posted to Linux-390, IBMVM, and IBM-Main.

It's rather long overdue, but we finally managed to the the Starter System for
SLES11 SP3 out the door. For those that don't know what it is, you can read
about it at https://www.suse.com/startersystem/

For those that want to download it, there is a download link (to the left of
the image of the z12EC), or you can go directly to
https://download.suse.com/Download?buildid=l5_UjT5Nvmk~ .

The Starter System is free for download; customers with a valid subscription or
eval activation code are entitled for their respective support level. Note
that the addition of support for the Starter System is new.

The installation process is largely unchanged, but I recommend you read guide
thats among the files you can download.

You'll need a no-cost Novell Customer Center account to access it. (I've never
experienced any unwanted spam from having min, so that shouldn't be a worry.)
If you don't have one already, you can go to https://www.novell.com/center to
get one.

Thanks,

Mark Post
