It's likely you will need an outage, I mean reIPL or sysres replacement
(and reIPL).
So why don't you review ALL applicable PTFs? Why do you want to provide
service to new device but not other system components? You can also
review the lists of PTFs from FIXCAT, PSP Bucket and 'all applicable'
and choose what you want (to omit).
