I don't recall any version[1]f SMP that used static allocations for
TLIB data sets. Could you be thinking of a DD statement for the unit
and volume rather than for the individual data sets?
[1] Going back to the original[2] SMP through SMP4
[2] As I recall, TLIB came in later, but before SMP/E.
