OK, let me be clear then: I can think of at least a half-dozen regular SHARE attendees who agree with Charles' assessment that it *feels like* there's an exclusive, "club" attitude. I do not believe it's deliberate--but that's how it comes across. And I've had coworkers who went to their first SHARE and felt the same (I've also had some who went to their first SHARE and did NOT feel the same, so it's not universal).
So given: 1) This semi-common perception 2) Declining SHARE attendance ...I conclude that this is worth discussing, rather than flaming someone for pointing it out.
