I think there is a tendency for folks to use the term JCL (yes, incorrectly of
course) to mean "some sort of batch control statements," hence "FTP JCL,"
"IDCAMS JCL," etc. I assumed that was the OP's usage.
Yes, the longer LRECL may imply getting the FTP control statements
("sub-commands" IIRC) out of //INPUT DD * and into //INPUT DD DSN=
While I am belaboring this thread again, let me mention that yes, both of the
two other suggested methods will work. You can continue FTP control statements,
and also the effect of LOCSITE (and SITE) is cumulative. LOCSITE FOO LOCSITE
BAR has the same effect as LOCSITE FOO BAR.

I just noticed "JCL" in the Subject. In a previous century, that would have
limited the OP to 80 characters (but never 72; was he deducting for the command
name?) But JCL is better now, for several releases. I wonder how long it will
take the ISPF SUBMIT command to recognize the fact?
