>I bet you get that a lot .... :0) Hehehe! I once said that to my boss when one of our MVS/XA (or was it MVS/ESA?) VTAM won't come up. [1] My boss replaced in the VTAM PROC the value in REGION= with something smaller. Guess what! VTAM won't come up and I still remember paging trough System Commands book to try to recover. After the recovery with S VTAM,REGION=<better/bigger value>, I told my boss and said that (using not so polite language) he was __not supposed to__ play around with VTAM region without any change controls. The mere fact that I rescued an IPL prevented me from a promotion to pavement (to mingle with 'pavement special' mongrels...) You just can't win with error-prone bosses. If you don't believe me, just ask Ed Gould... ;-D Groete / Greetings Elardus Engelbrecht [1] - Mind you, nothing was shared.
