So every sysprog should have enough dump reading skills to at least
ascertain when someone is giving them bullsh.. (Now I dream on.)

I agree, I have lost track of the times that IBM couldn't find
something in the dump which was a non-sequtor to the problem.
I usually said what difference does it make the problem is in so and
so module and its in LPA (or someplace) what does that have to do
with the issue.
Some times they convinced me but a challenge usually stopped them in
their tracks and made them back track.
