Besides confusing the user, it makes it harder to locate the
diagnostic data. That could be ameliorated with better documentation,
but don't hold your breath.

LE PC handling reminds me of the old FORTRAN SPIE code. What's the
emoticon for runs away, shrieking in despair, disgust and terror?
