Could you state what you do not understand.

The process is as follows:
Read the $$$READ member and Review and follow the $$$INST member
The best way is to start with $$$INST and create a check list based on the
descriptions.

For example:
Step 1 Identify a name for PDS - Do you need to change it Y or N
If you leave it as PDS then nothing changes in the install process
Step 2 Update PDS Assembler Global Settings If you
leave it as default nothing changes in the install process

And continue on. Keep the steps simple.

You need to understand Assembler, ISPF Setup, TSO HELP and so forth.

Please let us know what you do not understand or when you have issues with this
process.

If you are not a z/OS System programmer or a new one, we can help you when you
have issues. But the best way is just to go for it. Most of the process is
documented fairly well.

Keep everything in its OWN Library for now. You can always copy it to a more
appropriate library later. Get familiar with running the process. By using
unique LOAD/SOURCE libraries you will not create any issues in your current
system.
