I assume you mean corporate accounting packages rather than, say, IT accounting. Please let us know if my assumption is incorrect.
I'm rather surprised you didn't think of SAP ERP Financials. SAP is quite popular in this market segment. SAP runs superbly on IBM z Systems. SAP uses DB2 for z/OS as its database and z/OS as the home for its central services. Other application components run on Linux on z. Other vendors with z/OS- and/or z/VSE-based accounting solutions include, as examples in no particular order, Global Software Incorporated, American Software USA, Infor, RA Computer S.p.A., and Data Design Associates. You can find more information on their (and other) solutions here: http://www.ibm.com/partnerworld/gsd -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Timothy Sipples IT Architect Executive, Industry Solutions, IBM z Systems, AP/GCG/MEA E-Mail: [email protected] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO IBM-MAIN
