Perhaps, just like you did it in the past for IBM 'licensed books' for very restricted contents available for paying customers. On the other side - If I pay for a book (not magazines/newspapers/etc) - it should be without ads. But, after reading that redbook, it seemed to me that IBM wants authors to contribute their wisdom and having them to [optionally for now?] pay for ad space in exchange of wisdom written. So far the gazillion URLs there are to IBM only except those in the ads. I think that mixture of URLs can change in the future.
