Been a while since you've used a multi-system ring Ant ? ;-)
DB2 is a classic example of the tail wagging the mutt. In a ring (even with 
IGGV2 converted) DB2 starts (particularly regions starting concurrently) spam 
the system something terrible.
There is a case for being careful.
