Nooooo! <g> I'm looking for an easier way, not a harder way. I have the
physical screen split in the middle. I have two edit sessions. I want to put
CC/CC on one edit session and A on the other, hit Enter, and have the copy
happen. I can do it if I type CUT on one logical screen and PASTE on the other,
but wondered if I could eliminate that step. (And yes, I could define PF keys
for CUT and PASTE.)

Subject: Re: Split screen ISPF edit copy?

If the source is saved on dasd, you can use the Copy command.
Note the source data.set.name(member) and start and end line numbers (see
accepted types below).

Edit the receiving data.set.name(member).
Type A or B in a line number or sequence number to indicate receiving point.
Type Copy in the command field and press enter.
Fill in the screen with data.set.name(member), line ranges, and type of number:
Number type . . . . (Standard, ISPFstd, COBOL, or Relative)
Standard (73-80) ISPF (73-78) Cobol (1-6) Relative (Actual line count).
