Your last point is substantially true but the villain if you will is not
SHARE. SHARE does not upload anyone's presentations. The speakers do or do
not upload handouts, and in my experience, SHARE and otherwise, the "big
deal" speakers never do. I think they think it helps keep the formula for
their secret sauce secret. Helps preserve the aura of mystery.

It's come up a number of times at SHARE.  They talk about the percentage of
the top 100 clients, percentage of new MIPs shipped, percentage of installed
MIPs, etc.  I would point you to the presentation, but it seems SHARE
doesn't upload the slides for the keynote speakers. :(
