Hello, does it have some negative Impact on the System if I have PAGESCM=ALL but do not have any Flash Express in my machine ? For a lpar with 6GB main storage the PLAREA would be 672MB. Is this Memory still available to the System or do I have to add 672MB via the HMC to have the same amount of Memory available to my lpar ?
I think it should be PAGESCM=NONE because there is no device available for paging large pages. When I look at the data for a PLAREA-view on Mainview there seems to be an activity in this area. Is there any "real" activity or is it only an info that there would be some activity if there is an Flash express installed.
