These 2 terms are similar but not the same. Just to get things clear - (From IBM Knowledge Center website): EREP - Environmental record editing and printing program (my insert - program name is IFCEREP1 sitting in SYS1.LINKLIB) Logrec - The z/OS error log, which contains error information in binary, written to a system-scope data set or a sysplex-wide log stream. See error log. Error log - A data set or file that is used to record error information about a product or system.
