Recently, I've been involved in a project to install and deploy a product suite, soup to nuts, exactly as a customer would, something I have not done in rather a long time. So, we got a Shopz ID, placed an order, got the download e-mail, downloaded the order, and went through a Product ServerPac installation (well, some things got in the way, so we're almost done). We should be ready to start customization later this week (some other things are now in the way).
I'll admit that I had some basic overview knowledge going in, but we read none of the materials posted on the website in advance, and we still have not. (Lizette posted the link before: https://www.ibm.com/software/shopzseries/ShopzSeries_public.wss)
I found it quite straightforward. The hardest part was finding out what the right IBM internal customer number was and getting authorized to use it. YMMV, and you know who I work for...but I think the Shopz team has done a fairly nice job of it.
