IBM-MAIN recently had a thread on the delicate problem of finding the right Windows Java to communicate remotely with HMC functions, especially Op Sys Messages. We ourselves had that problem here. Once we got the HMC to the latest microcode level, we've been stable with current GA Java release and updates. That is Java coming directly from Oracle.
