My earnest request: Please eschew pillarboxes. Don't restrict input fields for users of large screens in order to be compatible with standard geometry. And absolutely *never* interrupt a notional single input field with attribute bytes as ISRTSO does. But do not quietly truncate input from oversize terminals.
