Why, John, why? I know this is not your decision, etc., etc., but IBM's response and surveys remind me of a joke:
A man goes to the doctor complaining of a variety of ailments. The doctor says "the best thing for you would be to quit smoking and drinking." The man says "Doc, I don't deserve the best. What would be second best?" IBM has put out a survey to ask "what is your second choice in documentation?"
