Don't preallocate the target dataset. The RECEIVE will allocate the correct
attributes.
However, I don't think that is your problem. The XMIT dataset should be FB
80 3120.
Just RECEIVE INDSN('MY.XMIT') DATASET('NEW.DATASET'). If you get the same
error, reallocate your XMIT dataset to 3120 LRECL as mentioned by others.
