I looked in the JCL reference and DFSMS bookshelf and did not see a limit on the number of concatenated datasets
Would anybody know if there is one ? Joe Reichman I think there is (or was?) a limit of 255 extents that can be allocated to a DD name. Where a PDS(E) always counts as one extent regardless of the number of extents allocated for that PDS(E). Any sequential dataset counts as the number of extents allocated for that dataset. Or something along that lines...
