Sorry. Brain f@rt. I know the difference between SITE and LOCSITE; I typed the 
wrong words.

- You may need to QUOTE SITE to get it through the client to the remote server. 
A client either processes LOCSITE or it does not.
- LOCSITE LRECL etc. is ineffective with GET to DD: -- SITE is irrelevant.

Has worked since late OS/390 AFAIR.

Be aware that SITE lrecl etc. does not work with FTP to DD:, only with FTP 
allocation by DSN.
