From a totally outside view, I assume that the ICKDSF invoker is an RYO 
program, in which case (I also assume) the source is available. Take a look at 
the source and verify that register save/restore around the call follows the 
IBM-documented protocol. Also look for any (E)STAE the program might establish 
for itself. Improper register management or recovery handling could result in 
this problem. 

As for finding some other customer with the same problem, lotsa luck. ;-) Watch 
out that the hoped-for brownie points don't turn out to be merely brown stains.

​I would hope that they have done that. My friend is a recent hire who is still 
learning their products. I suspect that he may be aiming for "brownie points". 
I know that if it happened here, I'd be on the horn with IBM support. And 
likely have taken a few SVC dumps during the loop for diagnostic purposes.​
