Another simple-minded SWAG. (This is sorta fun.) Have your guy check that 
ICKDSF is really being called from SYS1.LINKLIB. Sometimes a sysprog will make 
a copy of a utility to test with. If that copy turns out to be the one executed 
here, it may have fallen out of sync with other z/OS maintenance.

​The source may be available to my friend, but definitely not to me.​ My friend 
is more interested in a "have you seen this" versus a "how do I diagnose" or 
"how do I fix" answer.
