On our system, SDSF seems to not know the owner of all STC running under the master subsystem, i.e. all STC which have been started with SUB=MSTR. An exception are those SUB=MSTR STC which have then "registrered with JESx", i.e. which have requested a jobid. SDSF shows the owner information not only for active jobs but also for jobs in the input or output queue. For those jobs, there are only JESx control blocks left to do the lookup. The STCs above are not known to JESx, thus they do not have a JCT. (It's those STCs which do not show any output when when selected in SDSF.) Conclusion: SDSF gets the owner information from the JCT or some control block "underneath" the JCT. And it does this equally for jobs currently executing. Therefore, the owner is missing for the aforementioned jobs (STCs). -- Peter Hunkeler ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO IBM-MAIN
