The email server doesn't care about the name that it's currently using, it's 
when it gets to the recipient server that things fail.

Our mail server guys told us that the check of the domain via reverse DNS is 
standard and there is no way to skip that check.

I wonder why IBM changed this without really putting any thought into the 
ramifications.
