The game has always been to play along and let the company THINK you are loyal while actually being loyal to yourself and your family. I never give loyalty to an entity who would lay you off to save a few bucks so the CEO can meet his quarterly or yearly numbers and receive his/her massive bonus. I have always been loyal to myself and my family and that has worked to perfection. I do my job to the best of my abilities but never ever look at it as anything other than a job that can easily be replaced should greener pastures come along.
