About thirty years ago a friend of mind who was a supervisor at the time got 
canned (for not a work related issue).
He went to see a lawyer about a lawsuit and was told the IL was an “at will” 
state and while he could sue he would likely loose.
I have never trusted an employer since that time. I think all people should not 
trust their employers either.
