Interesting. ObAnecdote: I was trying to test STCK a couple of years ago, and compare it to STCK. I ran a loop of 1M STCKs and another of STCKFs, and found that STCKF was way *slower*. This was on a zPDT; IBM said "Ooops" and wrote a fix. --
