Technically the compiles themselves are blazing fast.  It's the linkedit/binder 
step that takes forever, because it statically binds the entire Swift runtime 
library.  And yes, it is still slow, though faster than the first beta.  I am 
told they are working on placing (most of?) the runtime in a DLL, which should 
mitigate this issue, but I haven't heard a timeline.

Nonetheless I'm having quite a bit of fun with it.
