It's not the individual 2k which is the problem, it's the fact that (since we 
are dealing with automation of tasks, messages, and other "stuff") that we 
could have hundreds or thousands of them existing at any one point in time, and 
if they were all persistent, (meaning they were the life of the IPL), and there 
were a looonnnnggg time between IPL's, we could be talking some serious memory 
drain issues.

While this would not actually be "our" fault, providing the easy mechanism for 
someone to shoot themselves tends to make one look bad.
