No, nothing automatically was done.

The situation is a bit more clear now: we saw the 0A2 waitstatecode when the 
problem occurred, but did not note the reason code. When I wanted to check this 
later, I couldn't find it anymore in the hardware messages.

The reason is that the operator wants a clear screen, without unnecessary 
warning icons. This way he can easily see that a (new) hardware message has 
occurred and for this reason we allow him to 'delete' waitstate codes from the 
hardware log. I tested it and the button 'No Service' seems to de exactly the 
same: the message has disappeared.

While looking again for more information, I found the 'View Service History' 
task and that appears to be the place where all these events are logged, 
including the 0A2 waitstate and all its details.
