John was a lot more than a supporter of Greg's modification to Assembler H and ultimately HLASM. We will miss him.

I am deeply saddened to report that John passed away this morning (Tuesday, 20 February 2018) following a protracted battle with cancer. His wife, Tineke, reports: "He died in his sleep, and is now at peace and pain free. John will be cremated; in the near future there will be a memorial service at our church in Palo Alto."
