When I had to erase disk I would save the ICKDSF printout into a
PDS(E) member ZZuuuu.  I could then print the list of offline volsers
and the ZZuuuu s would  prove I had erased them, along with the
printed PDS(E) directory and printed PDS.

P.S. if your organization can't sell the used DS6000, the guy on IBM's
U.S. home page could use some CKD disk.  He has a twitter account and
a few youtube videos.  The most famous is 'I bought a z890, now
what?'.
