Gadi, It's been years since I've done anything like this, and things have probably changed, but yes, AFAIK it can only be done from single object operations.
I think the FTP IP address is the server / pc where the IOCP source resides. I seem to remember the server / pc had to be on the same network as the HMC, but again it's been years...
