If you are asking about error messages on why the IOCP 'compile' failed, then there is an answer. While you can not open an edit session to look at the errors, you can just ftp the IOCP file back to you and look at it. It will contain the error messages.

I do this all the time. It's the only way to update the IOCP source remotely.

I have never had an error message for the ftp process that was not pointing me to the problem.

The ftp support stinks. There are no error messages to help you figure out
what is wrong. I opened a thread on this a while back.

Other than guessing, I don't see anyway to figure out what is wrong with
the configuration you are attempting.

Gadi,
It's been years since I've done anything like this, and things have
probably changed, but yes, AFAIK it can only be done from single object
operations.

I think the FTP IP address is the server / pc where the IOCP source
resides. I seem to remember the server / pc had to be on the same network
as the HMC, but again it's been years...

Hopefully someone else will be able to help more.
