Apparently the ISPF List was moved some time ago with little notification.

Does anyone who understands List servers better, know how we can engage another
ListServer to take over the ISPF-L and save the archives?

I am only trying to see if it can be done, and if it can, what steps would need
to be taken

Thanks for any input.

I've been trying for a while to figure out what's going on with ISPF-L. It
seems that ND moved (as in outsourced) all of their listserv lists to Google
Groups. Since all non-ND-sponsored groups were to have either gone away or
gotten new ND sponsors many years ago but ISPF-L didn't, they didn't know that
it's not an ND group, and I didn't know that they did this. This explains a
number of problems that subscribers have had, and why I have not been able to
manage the list.

I have a ticket open and they've asked that I call them to resolve this. I
figured that I better send this out first because some of the subscribers have
indicated that they can't receive google group email at their work addresses.
For those of you where that's the case, please respond to me privately and we'll
see if anything can be worked out. I have an idea.

What I will be asking them to do is move the ispf-l group from ND's private
space to a standard public space in google groups. I hope that's possible. If
it's not, I will set up a new group somewhere, either on google groups or
possibly on groups.io. It will NOT be on yahoo groups if I can possibly avoid
it. (Among other reasons, I figure that with the new owners, yahoo groups is on
borrowed time.) groups.io's free groups appear to missing required features.

Note that ND named the group ispf-l-list on google groups. Department of
redundancy department. I will try to change it back to ispf-l. One critical
point in doing this is to not lose the old archives.

For those of you who have been unable to unsubscribe, I notice that there is an
unsubscribe address given in a header in every email. View full headers for any
post and you'll see it.

This list has not been maintained in a while.

Not sure if there is even A List Administrator there to help.
