At SHARE St. Louis, the MVS Program is doing something a little
differently than at past SHARE conferences in terms of communication
between IBM executives and the SHARE membership. Usually these are
*closed* meetings.
For the first time in quite awhile, we will be having an *open*
executive panel discussion on Tuesday at 4:30pm in Room 104. The VP of
z/OS Development and members of the executive staff will be on hand to
address the SHARE membership at large. Here's the abstract for the open
session:
"Come to this interactive discussion with the VP of z/OS Development and
other members of the z/OS executive team as they discuss current issues
and future direction of the z/OS platform. The panel will take questions
from the audience, but will give priority to questions submitted in
advance to email address: [email protected]."
Given some of the strong opinions expressed recently on IBM-MAIN and
elsewhere in "cyberspace," this might very well be a MUST ATTEND session
for many of you.
