Most everything is menu driven, about the closest thing on IBM i are CL programs (Control Language). Think Clists but they require compilation. An optional IBM licensed program product, Advanced Job Scheduler, has a way to schedule a series of commands, but there is no conditional processing capability. ISV products may provide more function, but I have no experience with anything other than IBM AJS.
