I have certainly considered issuing a D NET command and parsing the results. Not an incredibly difficult task I know. I have not quite convinced myself that that is a worthwhile approach -- for a variety of reasons that are beyond the scope of this thread. If I do convince myself to go that route, then I will investigate what is the best way to issue the command and retrieve the output. The code would be running APF-authorized so there are a variety of approaches available. Thanks for suggesting SPO. Charles, Have you considered writing an SPO (Secondary Program Operator) and issuing the D NET command you want? Then you will get exactly the same information back which you say has everything. You just need a definition in VTAMLST for your APPL and you can run it from TSO or anywhere. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO IBM-MAIN
