can't find Mark's original post...but, when I was laid off in 09 I found it difficult to find anything until I was contacted by IBM Global Services, at the time it was strictly work from home, communications was via email and conference calls, and a laptop provided by global services. my team and boss was great, although I never met anyone IRL.
