Cross-posted to IBM-MAIN and MVS-OE. I’m trying to convert some existing programming and installation tasks to use `make’ instead of having to maintain JCL. However, in some cases we are currently using the REPLACE and RENAME binder control statements, and I can’t see a way to pass those the the `ld’ command. The entry for `ld’ in “Unix System Services Command Reference” only tells how to pass object modules, archives, and side decks, but not control statements. Am I missing something, or is this just not possible?
