I'm sure many of you have seen this. I'm trying to boil down what it really means.....
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sorry for the short notice - Hopefully you have heard about this through other channels. PLEASE share this information with anyone on your respective mainframe teams that open IBM PMRs. IBM is replacing the IBM Service Request Tool (for mainframe software) with a new tool in mid July. The process to initiate PMRs (soon to be called cases) by voice and IBMLink will remain the same. There is an education/demo session next Wednesday (a replay will be available after that). There are also APARs required to enable this new support process. Many of you may be aware that other IBM software products have already shifted to this new system. Mainframe hardware support will shift later this year. The intent is to make the support process much better, but this is still a change for everyone so we want to make sure you are aware and prepared.
