If TSO is an option for you:

3.3, then enter the dataset names only on the source and target panels,
and then, when on the panel where the members can be selected, do

S A*
S B*
S C*
S D*
S E*
S F*

that's it for the first part.

I agree: for the second part, it is not that easy ...

Another option: write a REXX using ISPF LM services.
